Floatin' the 'Boat Adaptive Fishing Camp – for people with physical disabilities of all ages
Since 2010, Access Anything has been facilitating this STARS (Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports) Camp which focuses on both fly fishing and traditional rod and reel fishing. Through the generous efforts of local business owner Tim Kirkpatrick and Steamboat Flyfisher, up to 10 disabled participants have the opportunity to participate in casting clinics and shore fishing the first day of camp and a private float trip on the Yampa River on the second day. Normally a $600 – $800 weekend (without lodging), this camp is offered at just $150 for two days and two nights in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The third night is optional and the responsibility of the camper. Please ask about local lodging discounts if you are interested in extending your stay. For all you avid fishermen, this is the chance of a lifetime to experience world class fly fishing and spin casting in the Rocky Mountains.
